Thank you for visiting Star City Tattoos. My name is Roger LaDouceur and I have been serving the Roanoke area since 2000, opening Star City Tattoos in 2006. My schedule continues to remain open, I like to tattoo five days a week and never close my book to clients. I stay booked about two to three weeks in advance throughout the year and I don't play games with my clients. If I do not feel as though I am the artist for your particular project I will tell you straight away. Don't let all the crazy pieces up here fool you, I do smallish stuff too. I work in black and gray, but color tattooing is a passion of mine. I enjoy doing ornate freehand script. However I'm not a fan of blocks of text, poems, bible verses and the like and will pass on those projects. I will however be happy to add your Nana's signature to any memorial piece. I create designs specifically for my clients desires. I draw everything by hand, without exception. When I'm satisfied with your drawing I will send you what I have prepared. I will not make you wait till your appointment to see your design, nor will I make you wait in my lobby while your design is being drawn. I value your time as much as you do.  I prefer to work by appointment , but will take walk ins with time permitting. I do not charge by the hour, I charge by the piece. I work efficiently and will be prepared for you when you walk into the studio. I also have an amazing magic trick that other tattoo artists lack, I can talk and tattoo at the same time! Email is the easiest way to reach me, I check my email daily and will normally respond within 24 hours. Don't bother calling the shop phone, I never answer it, just send an email.
